Baking and food styling
While running a tiny cake business (Ponque Mama Social Club) we took care of the photos and styling too.
Baking is really fun, and we wanted to express this through cheerful cake toppers, specific to every occasion.
This was our pie season! We only offered pies for a while.
Animations
These are my first go at animations as I was learning on my own.
I played around with Teca's logo and branding to create a loading state.
I created these animations for Quartermaster. They really help to make the experience more delightful :)
Boxes and packages
I love, love, love boxes. These are a few examples of boxes for cakes, pies and chocolates.
We didn't have a big budget for Ponque Mama. We bought plain boxes and labeled them with stickers we could print at home.
I designed these boxes for a small chocolate boutique. They needed 2 box sixes; that's why I made the designs complimentary when used together but strong enough to work on their own.
Art stuff
I really enjoy getting involved with art installations. Everything from sketching to sorting out last minute construction issues, it's deeply gratifying bring designs to life.
This was an art installation for a coffee shop in Venezuela. A huge, white wall we filled with shapes of abstract coffee trees.
We picked a 12mm yellow and blue rope to trace out the shapes we wanted to draw, then we used screw eyes to determine the configuration and each turn of the rope.
